GR stands for grassroots and GT stands for grasstops. DESERVE works to foster meaningful engagement of all stakeholders in matters concerning health and well-being. Our GR and GT outreach cuts across all our focus areas, activities and projects. We value meaningful engagement and therefore invest in this strategy to seek solutions to health and well-being problems facing the most vulnerable particularly, women, girls, children and adolescents. We link up GR and GT through:

1. Dissemination of information and evidence.
2. Advocacy involving policy makers and community members.
3. Direct encounter with grassroots to understand their needs. We employ research methods and digital technology.
4. Engaging target populations in innovative design of solutions to common problems.
5. Media sensitization and education on health and well-being issues.
