Djingang Tchiegoue Ulrich Yvan has more than three years of engagement in leveraging digital technologies to solve critical problems with interest in investing digital devices, astronomy and astrophysics. He brings to bear his tech skills in DESERVE’s work along with his passion for the fight against poverty and illiteracy through digitalisation with computers among adolescents in Cameroon and globally.
Ulrich holds a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Software Engineering from the International institute of Engineering Science Arts and Technology Yaounde, Cameroon. As a National Outreach Committee member under the International Astronomical Union for Cameroon, he provides courses from the Cameroon Astronomy and Space Research Organisation for the promotion of space knowledge amongst youths.
He is the founder of Space and Environmental Science, Technology and Engineering for Africa(SESTEA), National Bronze Honor winner of International Astronomy and Astrophysics Competition 2020 edition.
Ulrich also participated in various space projects like the International Asteroid Search Campaign and others between 2019 and 2021, which was to increase awareness of space-orientated fields for secondary schools and the University of Buea. He also served as a volunteer for the TiC summit 2022 edition.
